Understanding Your Coverage
Cree Lighting warrants that if you — our customer — purchase one of our illumination products, and we determine it is defective in material and/or workmanship during your lifetime as the original owner, we will repair or replace it — no hassle.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or assembly.
- Failure of illumination components under normal intended use.
- Repair or replacement with a current-production model of like kind and quality if the original item is obsolete.
- Replacement coverage applies to the original owner/purchaser only.
What's NOT Covered
- Normal Wear & Tear: Expected battery capacity loss from charge cycles, switch wear, or exterior coating wear over time.
- Consumables & Alterations: Damage caused by abuse, unauthorized repairs, modifications, unapproved cells/chargers, or operation contrary to the user manual.
- Out-of-Scope Repairs: Issues not covered under warranty may still be eligible for repair for a reasonable service fee.
