Questions, answered
The quick answers buyers ask most before choosing an X-Series light.
Which X-Series flashlight should I buy?
Pick the X14 for everyday carry, the X16 for high-impact duty jobs, X30 for long-range outdoor work, and the XP40 for professional trade work.
How bright are X-Series flashlights and how far do they throw?
Output ranges from 1,400 lumens on the X14 to 4,000 lumens on the XP40. Beam throw spans roughly 330–574 meters, depending on the model.
Are X-Series flashlights waterproof?
Yes. Every X-Series light is rated IP68 — fully dust-tight and submersible to up to 2 meters — so it keeps working in rain, mud and snow.
How are they charged and what batteries do they use?
All models recharge over USB-C. Cells scale with size: an 18350 in the X14, 18650 in the X16, and high-capacity 21700 cells in the X30 and XP40.
How long does the battery last on a charge?
Runtime depends on the mode. Turbo trades runtime for peak output, regulated mid-levels run for hours, and Eco modes stretch into days. See the runtime row in the comparison table above for per-model figures.
