X16 · FAQ
Questions, answered.
The answers buyers ask most before choosing the X16.
Who is the X16 Tactical Duty for?
The X16 is built to withstand long hours and rough, high-contact work. It's trusted by police, EMTs, first responders, and mountaineers — and just as capable for anyone who needs a rugged, high-output light for demanding conditions.
What's different about the X16?
The X16 has a high-candela output that rips through tough terrain, foggy alleyways, dark windows, and disaster areas. It also has the longest battery life on High light modes, built to last long hours on shift.
What other tools does the X16 have on it?
Every model comes with a glass-breaking bezel and a defensive strobe mode that flashes light at full power to disorient and deter approaching threats, human or animal.
Is the X16 too bright to be used indoors?
The X16 has four brightness modes, so you can choose the right output for your environment. Turbo Mode is best for high-stress, low-visibility situations; High Mode is for general outdoor awareness; Medium Mode throws enough light to fill an interior room; and Low Mode stretches the battery to last 30 hours, providing survival light if you're stranded or away from power.
How long does the X16 take to charge?
The X16 fully charges in 2 hours.
