Every X-Series model charges over USB-C with fast charging. No proprietary dock or cable is required, just plug in any standard USB-C charger. On the X14 and XP40, the USB-C port is on the battery itself, so charge the battery directly. On the X16 and X30, the port is on the flashlight, so charge it with the battery installed.

Runtime depends much more on the mode you’re in than on which model you buy. Turbo (peak brightness) has the shortest runtime, and your lowest mode has the longest, so choose the mode that fits the job. Cell size scales with the light: an 18350 in the X14, an 18650 in the X16, and high-capacity 21700 cells in the X30 and XP40.
